Julia Kostyuk

Julia Kostyuk is an American Board-Certified Advanced Family Nurse Practitioner. Julia completed her undergraduate degree; Bachelor of Science in Nursing with Honors at Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tennessee. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing with Honors at the University of Maryland School of Nursing in Baltimore in 2014. Julia was awarded the Nursing Mission Excellence Award from Florida Hospital in 2008.

Having more than 13 years direct patient care experience; five of those years with Florida Hospital, two at Johns Hopkins Howard County General Hospital, and six more years at Southwestern Medical Clinic and Spectrum Health as a family practitioner, Julia has a strong background of primary care. Her experience with disease prevention, acute and chronic care management strengthens her ability to provide quality care for family members of all ages, from babies all the way up to grandparents.
She is passionate about family medicine. Understanding there are many factors that contribute to a person’s health Julia takes a whole-person approach to patient care. As an attentive provider she addresses patient concerns. Using evidence-based guidelines she educates her patients and applies up-to-date research findings into her care plans.
